Lisa Trinity is a singer/songwriter/producer/musician based in Charlotte, NC whose musical stylings were influenced by Johnny Cash, Carole King, and Ella Fitzgerald.
Lisa is a musician whose first love is singing. In addition to her voice, her other instruments include keys, ukulele, guitar, and drums.
Lisa's artist identity is best described as versatile and eclectic. She performs and produces in virtually every style of popular music. EDM, Rock, Country, Blues, and Jazz are just a few genres that she is passionate about.
Her powerful and smooth contralto voice lends lush and layered tones to her music. Her singing leaves her audience entranced (And often moved to tears). Many of Lisa's fans draw comparisons between her and vocalists like Cher, Etta James and Bonnie Raitt. However, it is well agreed upon, within the community of supporters Lisa has built, that she really doesn't sound like any other artist. Lisa Trinity is truly as unique as they come!
Lisa was born with a rare congenital heart defect called ALCAPA that has led to four open heart surgeries, three strokes and has a connective tissue disorder called EDS. Lisa’s music and songwriting reflects these challenges and lends an unprecedented storytelling viewpoint to her songs.
Lisa is frequently called upon to perform at fundraisers for various causes including Serious Fun Camps, medical, food insecurities, homelessness, and the arts. She freely gives of her time to entertain the patients at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, St. Jude Affiliate Clinic, and Hemby Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
Lisa has been performing at local venues (The Evening Muse, Double Door Inn, Amos’ Southend, McGlohonTheater, et. al) since she was 8. She has performed at The House of Blues in Orlando 13 times as well as multiple venues up and down the east coast.
